dang man! i seem to recall hearing someone say they've gone 40 but that sounds pretty out there to me.TX.Stryker said:I've made 20, easy. I've pushed it to 30 too. But I HAVE run out of gas on the Stryker (I don't remember how far it was on the F-trip meter). It's pretty easy to push if you get on the side of it. LOL
i was getting around 42 last i checked....and they aren't all easy miles either!JRC65 said:On the same thought, how many MPG........?
Filled up yesterday............3.1gal. 123 miles===39.7
That's about what I'm getting. It's not the greatest at fuel mileage for sure.JRC65 said:On the same thought, how many MPG........?

As far as engine cooling goes the bike will just shut off once out of gas with no cooling issues as long as your fluid levels are good. I actually have always replaced the standard coolant with an aftermarket performance coolant. Just a left over habit from my race days I guess, but bikes do actually run cooler with it.
In addition to the pump overheating it will also suck up trash that accumulates at the bottom of the fuel tank throughout the years...terrible for the engineclar2001 said:My girlfriend used to drive her mustang on empty really works the fuel pump hers burned out and cost $600
