Nice to see that there are some local riders on here.. We really should get a nice group ride going one of these days before the season is over.. Went on a nice ride one time up in the West Milford area.. Will have to try and ifgure out exactly where we were lol.. All I know is we literally drove alone this lake for miles.. Seemed like it was forever.. Was a really nice ride.. I wanna say it was Greenwood lake.. I recall riding along it and then we wound up coming out onto 23.. Below is the area where I think we rode..
This is just a basic layout.. Obvsiously we ended up driving route 23 and down to our area.. But just an idea.. Like I said it was a nice area.. Granted its now getting cold but always a nice view when you are near the water.. Just realized its on the border of NY lol.. Well actually you cross into new york.. Anyway it looks like to go down one side of the lake is roughly 9 miles.. Mapquest puts it as taking 20 minutes so making a roundtrip would probably be somewhere around 35 minutes depending on speed and traffic and whatnot.. When we rode up there there were not many cars around.. Just an idea.. Not sure on places to eat or stop up there..
