OK I have the Cobra slip-on and have gotten caught in the rain a few times and now the dirt etc. is baked on. Would like to clean it up but am concerned about scratching the ceramic coating.
What do other people do to get it cleaned up?

Hey, I just got my Stryker today!! Im stoked about it. It was slightly used (only 4000km) on it!! Great deal. One question: there is some rubber melted on below the passenger pegs and I have the Cobra swept exhaust, mat black and I want to know if anyone has any suggestions about what to use to take it off without damaging it.

Any Ideas?

I have a similar problem with a hand print because I forgot to clean and wipe it down before I fired it up.

Lots and lots of Honda Wax after a really good wash. I actually go to the car wash around the corner and use the high pressure there. Takes the road stuff right off, and then I use about three coats of the wax. Works really well.

NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just say no to high pressure water... (Just my opinion though!!!)
I rarely use the full pressure, to be honest, and I only go there if my bike is really dirty, like after my long ride I got back from a few days ago. Bugs like you would not believe... Had to use something with a little more umph than my garden hose.

I'll stick by the Honda Wax, though.

i think I'll avoid the chrome polish...lol, however the honda wax might work. the melted rubber is on there pretty hard, tried wiping it with hot pipes and it didn't move. I will let you know if I find something!
