Hello all,

i should receive my stryker today or tomorrow at most, it has spent the last 3 months stored , so i guess it is a good idea to empty the gas tank and fill it up with fresh fuel

anyone can share the easiest way to do such thing ?

i am planning on changing the oil + filter also, anything else should be done to compensate for the long storage period ?

Ride it. Why waste gas. 3 months or more is normal here in Midwest for winter storage. Even the oil is probably OK, but if you want, change it.

Gotta agree with SmokenJoe on that one, if you're worried about it just put in a high grade octane boosting additive, over the life of the bike you'll get some bad gas, probably worse than what's in it

i thought it was considered a long time, for sure i will keep it and just add something like STP Fuel System Cleaner

Whatever you do, don't use the STP crap. I would suggest eaither seafoam or lucas.

Nothing wrong with STP... used it for years without issue.... BUT...I do like the seafoam too!
