This is not complicated at all. 8mm allen wrench, philips screw driver and a thin flat blade.
COVER TANK (cautionary)
Start with uncliping the two wire harness from handle bar, throttle side only! Remove plastic end cap for allen wrench, pocket knife works well. Use a 8mm allen to unscrew from handlebar. Might take a good wrap to break it loose.
Remove three philips head screws. Two holding clam together, one holding cable clamp down.
Turn handle bar all the way to right and slide half housing off the bar. Other half just hangs there. Pull up on the grip to slid it out of clamp housing. Work cable knobs out of grip.
Install new grip to cable knobs and slide back into clam half.
Put clam back together making sure it slips together with no problems.
Wala...........done on right side.
Left is basically the same other than no wires to worry about. The grip should slide off easily. If not slip the thin flat screw driver in and spray with WD40. Twist and off it comes. You will not need the spacer that comes with the grips. Put super glue, comes with grips, on handle bar on the end and slide grip on quickly. Make sure you get it lined up where you want before gluing.
(mine is not glued as of now. Waiting for warmer weather.
Whole project took maybe 45min. (No beer break though)
