To remove the Rear Fender you must remove 4 bolts and 2 push style rivits

Tools Required:
Socket Wrench
10mm Socket
Punch or small screw driver

Push the center or the rivit and and it will slide right out.

Remove the 2 bolts on each side of the Fender, making sure the chrome sides dont fall and scratch the bike or themselves.


To ensure you done lose the pieces you can throw them in a box or put them back where they go on the frame

Can I assume the connection coming from the fender is under the left side cover?

The connection from the rear tail lights is run under the fender, under the seat. I assume it terminates inside the left side cover that resides under the seat.
