Is there a way I can subscribe to threads I post in, so that I can see notifications for replies without searching through the forum, trying to remember if I posted there?

Now the real question is how do you unsubscribe to a thread?? I made the mistake of posting to the “what did you do to your Stryker today”
Unfortunatly that’s a thread that’s probably never going to drop off

Open the thread and click "unnotify" at the top.

No, yours says "notify" - which means it thinks you're not being notified. Try toggling it by clicking "notify" and then clicking "unnotify". May be some idiosyncrasy of the SMF BB software.

You are correct. By clicking on “notify” the tab changed to “unnotify” so clicked on that. Hopefully it will do what I want it to do. thanks

Okay. Try Profile=>Profile Info=>Show Posts and find the post in the Stryker thread in the list. To the far right, does it say "notify" or "unnotify"?

I followed your instructions and yes to the right there was a "notify" button. I clicked on it and it gave me a "yes/no" option, I chose "no." Something changed, now there is just quote/modify/remove options. Not sure where it's at now..

Exactly. I selected “no” to 2 threads and I’m watching/waiting to see what happens. I’ll will let you know. Thanks for your help either way.

Last thought that might help is that you could turn notifications off globally (Profile=>Notifications) and then turn them on individually for the threads you want to track by email (which is what I do). I've posted several times in the thread to which you're referring, and I don't get notified by email when there's a new post.

Oh, actually I’m not getting email notifies. It’s the notification of threads in my “show new replies to your posts” at the top of the home page that I’m talking about. I use that everyday to see if there are replies to threads I’ve posted in. unforeunately I’ve posted on some threads that won’t go away and IMO are a complete waste of time.

Oh. Probably the only way to make those go away would be to delete your posts in those threads. You're not subscribed to the thread, the board is just doing what the link says.
