I have a power port I picked up at Cycle Gear for 10 bucks that will mount to my handlebars. The wires, however, are too short to connect to the battery directly, and i want to have it not powered while the key is off - have any of you wired to the headlight? If so, how to go about it?

Are you talking about a cigarette lighter type of power port?

Yes - that was supposed to be "USB" but my spell check changed it.

I went into the headlight and picked up a hot on key wire..............brown I think.

What did you wire the ground to?

Headlight mount.

Bradly before hooking it up. Look where I put mine. The wire would be long enough to hook into the battery or fuse box. Don't know how paste it on here but go to :: what did you do to your stryker today :: and go on page 135 and you'll see the pics

Perfect - works like a charm! Thanks for the tip. I like it better in that spot than sticking out on the bars. Took five minutes.
