Well gang, we have been here almost 2 weeks and have seen lots of weather extremes. We are either soaking from rain or sweat. I guess England is more of an average temperature country.

Done almost 3000 miles since the bike left home. had a day off the bike today. Seriously tired. In Colorado Springs now. Off around the rockies tomorrow.

Thanks for the update. Glad to hear you're making out OK...but sorry to hear about the weather. I guess when you cover that many miles in a short time you are going to run into everything. Just watch out for the snow blizzards!

Enjoy the rest of your trip!

You will enjoy the time you have with Taildragger.....but TOXIC might be a different story..... ???
Toxic and Taildragger were AWESOME! They took us to a mining town where we played the slot machines. Cripple Creek.

They took us on a road that I hated. Along a ridge. Scary as.

Moving on tomorrow to Grand Junction.

Jan that is great! I lived in Colorado Springs for 10 years and I miss it terribly mostly because of the friends I left behind. The ride up to Cripple Creek is excellent. The ride to Grand Junction is even better, when they say purple mountains they mean it so be prepared with the camera to stop. Grand Junction itself though something to be desired, lol. I wish I was there. Make sure you hit up the bar called Cowboys in down town Colorado Springs. Added a couple pictures I took last year when I flew back to visit friends after 20 years.

Yeah, it looks like you had a good time in the U.S. I, too, have ridden the roads in Colorado although it was almost 40 years ago, but that is one experience you don't forget. I sure wish I could get my Stryker over to England and Scotland some day before it's too late. That is truly some beautiful countryside. May have to brush up on my English though. ;)
