As the title says, I owe you a huge thank you for your help with my issue. Really wish I was closer to Texas so I could easily do business with you and your dealership. Truely amazed at the level of professionalism.

So I called the owner, he never returned my call. 2 hours later, went to take the bike out with another battery which we had laying around (house with 3 Yamahas and 1 HD) got ready to let my father take a quick ride since he hasnt yet, and there isnt even enough oil to reach the bottom of the sight glass. Called Yamaha directly, they sent me back to the same dealership.

I would be taking the bike to different Yami dealer for your 600 mile checkup and let them know what you have been through so they will check everthing.

We got 40's & rain/wind today and in the forecast for next week. Hopefully May will be better month. I have only got 178 miles so far due to weather, but this is typical for NY this time of year.

Thats fine by me, I would MURDER someone after a full week of 90+ heat. I actually enjoy cool temps, but draw the line when its cold enough that all the water might start to get very slick. all part of being a masshole I suppose.

90s are nothing. It's when it's about 115° that it gets a bit uncomfortable riding. I still do it though. I'm just waiting for it to get warm enough so I can jump in our pool.
