I thought the K&N filters came "precharged/oiled" from the factory so not necessary till you clean it after X miles. At least that is how I remember it from my car...

Just pick up a K & N recharge kit, comes with plenty and you'll need it anyway. Think their about $12

My last filter I bought for the open mailbox mod came with a little packet. I was just wondering since this is my second K&N filter I ever bought.:-[

Then again, I never took the filter out of it's package to thoroughly investigate to see if it was pre oiled.
