Went riding today with a 09 Yamaha vstar 650, 2011 Yamaha FZ6R, 2011 HD Fat Bob, and at our rest stop for drinks & snacks, MY Stryker was the only bike that some others walked around and oogled at with compliments.

It seems everybody and their brother rides a harley, I wanted to be different! The harley mentality is so old, i'm usually disgusted when i see them at gas stations i don't even look their way. Your future son-inlaw might as well get used to it, cuz more and more riders feel very similar.

I agree wholeheartedly RSR, Future son-in-law was wanting a new left over Raider until I bought the Stryker. Then mysteriously He went looking for a HD. I still don't understand why he didnt get the Raider. I think in his mind he was outdoing me and that's Sad. The Raider would have been so cool.
You two would have been quite the pair! Tell him that 75% of all harleys sold are still on the road today....pause.......wait for it........let him comment....then tell him the rest of them made it home! ;D

This is such a regular occurrence everywhere my wife and I ride. My Raider and her Stryker will guaranteed get a crowd around it and everybody asking questions and comments. Never anything bad.

What can they say about the other bikes? "Hey, your Harley looks just like my Harley." It's just so boring.

All good comments, I love when people come up to me and ask "what is it???" because no one knows. A Harley is a Harley, very few are unique. It irritates me too how Harley owners talk down to you because you dont own one! Come on, if you ride you are good in my book, even if it is on a Harley I will still talk to you:)
