That was on the island here in BC. They impounded the bike and fined the owner. They believe it was the owners son (25 yrs old) who was riding. She got nailed with a ton of fines and on top of that all the bike did not have insurance when the video was uploaded

From the yami emblem on the handle bars it must be an R1. And I think it's soooo hot that it ends up being a chick. To think, all it would have taken would have been one car making a lane change and she would have been toast. She has bigger balls then I.

Okay I agree this guy is an idiot.

But do the police in Canada have nothing better to do? They didn't catch him in the act. But yet spent the time to track his IP address. Then they had to go to the ISP with a warrant to get his (or who ever pays the bill) billing address and then go knock on the door. Seems like alot of wasted time and energy when they could have been tracking people that upload child porn and other harmful information other than an Idiot on his bike.

The Police near Central Illinois have a no chase rule. If you are speeding through a town, or going a certain speed they will stop a persuit. I'm sure even if they have a glimpse of your license plate, you are Fed.... so i don't see a big difference from that to tracking a youtube video.

If they witnessed you first hand and have your licence plate. I'd say you might as well expect them at your door. All they have to do is run the place through the computer. Tracking an IP is a little more in depth. Its not like you can type an IP address in and it will tell you the address of the person. At most you will get is their ISP. And most ISP at least in the states wont give up private information with out a warrant.

Here in California some counties have a no chase rule.
