So I went back and forth on this mod. Every friend said "don't do it" or "it will ruin the lines on your bike," but I think they're all wrong. I just love the old school looks of the Cobra bars.

Don't get me wrong, the Linbars are cool, but I ultimately could not warm up to the price, or the looks, compared to these. I realize they're not for everyone, but I really like that the bike looks bigger from the front, provides a place to mount hiway pegs and driving lights, and will protect the bike quite well in the case of an accidental drop.

So here are the pics. Be nice with your critiques please. I know I'm flying solo with this mod. :biggrin1:

+1 It's your bike, do what makes you happy. I will say that there is plenty of room to mount what ever you want now!

Will they work with peg extensions? Hard to tell how they mount underneath. Do they fasten to the frame on top also?

Mounts just like a Linbar... Under the footpeg brackets, and above the rad. Real solid piece.

I am not much into any highway bars although I know the purpose they serve but they don't look bad to me. I am kind of glad to see that you were not swayed away from something you really like. It's your Lola. :wink:

I can't believe you remembered the name I gave to my bike. I haven't posted that in months. Impressive memory. And yes, I love my Lola, and I'm the only person she has to impress. :thumb:
