I wasn't going to do it but my buddy's ATC and trailer got stolen last week. Now he's out 8 grand. Anyway Progressive was about $570 for 1 year financed. All the usual crap. This is my 2nd vehicle and I hardly ever ride the bike with $500 deductible. I'm not happy about it but would be pissed making a payment for something I didn't have.

Unthinkable for me to not have insurance plus the accessory coverage. We have a lot of illegals here in CA with no license or insurance. Only way to get my medical coverage in the event I get hurt or ran over was to have full coverage including uninsured and under insured coverage. BTW I bumped the medical coverage to 250k/500k when i got the bike as it would be pretty easy to reach a these limits in a serious accident. For me it was more about the medical than getting the bike paid for.

Who are you with? I have full coverage through Dairyland and I pay $29 a month.
Is that with or without uninsured/under insured motorists and PIP (personal injury protection)?

These two, which I consider important (it's amazing in a state that requires insurance the number without any at all and many others only carry the very minimum required), doubled my premium from $30/mo to $60/mo. The $30 was full coverage - liability @ 100/300/100, comprehensive and collision w/ $500 deductible and $3500 accessory. All this is in Texas w/ Foremost (Farmers).

Allstate had quoted me about $150 more per year for the same coverage. Dairlyland and Geico quoted me about $1200 for this coverage. I haven't had a ticket or accident in over 20 years (knocks on wood).

It should go down if you're 25 now, so you might want to call them. I'm with State Farm, and my payment went from 67/mo to 33/mo the day I turned 25.
Really when was that? I did call them and it dropped about 7 bucks cause it was around 74. not sure why mine is so expensive.. what kind of coverage do yall have?

I turned 25 december of 2011. I have full coverage with $500 deductible on the bike. I also had two cars and renters insurance on the same policy. You should call around and find out who will give you the best price for all of your vehicles, toys, and house (homeowner/renter). You get better deals when you bundle it all together. I have since upgraded to homeowners insurance, but unfortunately my bike premium stayed the same...

The only thing I can add. This coverage is only for the bike not me. I will have to ask the wife why this doesn't cover medical. Then again 12 years ago I crashed my GSXR All-State didn't cover medical either. Who knows could be a Florida thing. Worst case they gotta fix you anyway.

We use Geer Ins agency and they get us our insurance thru National General. (used to be Gmac) Our yearly premium for two strykers is 385$ full coverage, 500$ deductible.
If anyone wants to check out insurance with them, PM me and I will provide you with contact info. They only handle new customers on a referral basis... I haven't had any problems with them in the almost 3 years we have been with them and have always found them easy to deal with. I think they also do auto insurance, but it is usually a seperate policy from motorcycle insurance.
