I was wondering if you all could help me out with this. I know i asked this question on the old version of the forum but can't seem to find the post. The wife gave me the go ahead to order an intake and fuel processor for my bike. I knew i married her for a reason.

The question: I have already installed Vance & Hines twin staggered pipes and i am going to install the Cobra PowrFlo Air Intake System. I know by adding the intake I have add the fuel processor. I am looking at the Cobra FI2000R O<2> Fuel Processor. Is this the correct fuel processor that I should order?

Auto tuner is the way to go if you can. No dyno, no maps. Plug in and go. Unfortunately the auto tuner is the most costly.

I guess my question is which Cobra Fuel Processor should i get. i have been told to just get the with the O2. Which would be great because cheaper than the power tuner but I want to ge the correct one. The three that i found on CObra's website are:

Fi2000R O2
Fi2000R
Fi2000 PowrPro Tuner

Power pro tuner is the only one that is considered an Auto Tuner and the one recommended

If you want a manual tuner then I suggest the gman tuner which is used by many members here

At first a few shops were telling me that I needed a tuner to load the map to. It took me a while but I found a shop that loaded it without the tuner.
mikoloe,
You should specify what your set up is that they loaded a map to so there is no confusion with the stock ECU because I think this was Okda's question

If i remember correctly I think i got some advice that stated i could use the Cobra fuel management system without the O2 sensor. Is this correct?

I think the answer to the question is that the O2 or the auto tuner will work. The O2 is the entry level and you would have to make adjustments to it. The auto tuner is what it says it is, install and go. I've been looking into them too and reading a lot of the old posts and I think I'm just going to go with the O2.

The third is for those who no longer have an O2 if I'm not mistaken.

The wrong dates were result of the forum update
They should be working on restoring everything to its correct state including the subscribed threads
Hope the forum admin is working on it
