Since i've had my bike I have noticed that the horn works when ever it wants to. Has anyone else had any problems?

Sounds like a short or loose wire, mine works flawlessly although I rarely use it as it embarrasses me

no problems with mine but the only time I use mine is when I'm on the back roads and use it to scare cows for some reason they scatter and run for there life when I honk it kind of entertaining ;D

Well, the dealer ordered me a new horn and I went this morning to have it swapped out. Sure enough, he hooked the new horn up and everything is back to normal. I wouldn't have worried about it but the bike is fixing to go out of warranty and I figured why not I paid for it.

I noticed it every now and then, then I realized I was pushing the turn signal button.... :

Have you taken apart the switch to see if that's the problem? My guess is that there's something loose inside the switch housing.

It was the horn not the switch. It was funny. Sometimes I could press the horn when I was standing be side it and the diaphram of the horn would go in and out but wouldn't make any noise. The horns they put on these bikes are crap.

I have the exact same problem. One morning it works ... The other it won't. I'll ask the dealer to take a look at it!

They replaced mine for free. You could tell he was relieved that it wasn't the switch or a shorted wire.

always hated that lil meep meep of a horn... I upgraded mine to the Stebel Nautilus Air Horn... 139dB... it's definitely an attention getter!

I hear ya Brother!
I had a young girl pull out of a driveway in front of me, causing me to hit the binders pretty hard.
As I went past her I gave her the stink eye. (behind a mirrored lens) and hit the horn angrily....

Yeah, I felt like an idiot!
a few blocks later I laughed at myself.

The only thing that horn is good for is making a roadrunner "Meep Meep" as you blast past a Harley
