Is it just me or does the Stryker:
1: have a really clunky shifter clutch/trans.
When I am shifting, it is really clunky, especially from 1-2.

and

2: Have a lot of engine noise (but in an annoying way).
The injectors tick, the radiator ticks, etc, etc.

Guess I will adjust the clutch a little and get louder pipes to drown out my sorrows.

I took my bike to the shop due to the ticking noise. They said it's normal, and to just get louder pipes..

Yeah I've noticed the shifter clutch/trans to be loud. Like when I down shift into first it sounds like it pushed something down in the trans and bounced.

I have an extra ticking too. Doesn't seem to affect performance. The "metric tic" got more noticeable with the bullet fairing.. seems to amplify it. Just keep telling myself it's normal..

Yea, Ive read some threads on the ticking. My main concern is making sure the clunky trans is normal.

Yep normal. Like others have stated, once you get used to its character the 2-1 clunk becomes your indicator (confirmation) that you are now in 1st.

Is it normal to miss neutral during break in period and after? When I park I try to slowly shift it into neutral but goes straight to first.

For me neutral is most of the time easy to find but easy to pass none the less. This is my first bike so I have no other reference other than a '12 Harley Deluxe I rented for a weekend. Neutral for that bike might as well not existed. Even the dealer told me it would be tricky. Understatement of the year.
