I received my new axle in the mail and was so excited that I installed it right away. The axle did not come greased so I assume that I need to grease it. I found that white lithium is recommended. Do I have to take the axle out again to grease it or is there any other way? I really don't want to take it out and put it back in again if I can avoid it. Thanks.

Wait till you "need to". Nothing moves on the axle. The bearings inner race stays in place. Everything moves around that.
I am guessing that that the axle went in fairly easy or you would have realized it sooner. Besides there is already some grease in there from before.
If you're really really really concerned about it, then do it.

Thanks, I ended up doing it this morning just to play it safe. I got the axle mostly all of the way out then sprayed some white lithium on it and through the other side before hammering it back in.

While on the topic of the axle... If you remove the axle without loosening the adjusters at the end of the swing arm, can you put it back in place without having to readjust?
That's what I did. It was a pain to do it by myself but I managed.
