It really is pretty simple...after-the-fact. That's why I put together the list of some extended instructions. Scootmod instructions were good, but they needed just a little more detail (and some pictures) to make it a lot easier...and to save a good bit of time. Any questions, feel free to ask.

Thanks guys...it was easy once I sorta figured out what parts they were talking about and exactly where to put them. The thread pics helped a ton.

I agree the instructions are in dire need of pics. At the very least a part list diagram.

I wish I had pics/video to help with mine. But it wasn't too difficult following the written instructions. The only trouble I had was the brake linkage - I had to fine tune it and adjust the brake-light switch to get it optimal.

So good news and bad news. Bad news: My camera's memory card ran out of room halfway through, (I had the control assembly of the brake side off and was putting the brake actuator extension on).

Good news: The directions do now have pictures, that are pretty helpful. I should have focused more on video for tips to supplement the pictures instead of a companion video for each step.

In the end, the only "gotchas" I experienced were:

- cotter pin attached brake to actuator rod needs to be re-used... and is easy to break. I recognized this and had no issues, but felt it should be called out
- Make sure after reattaching the main brake control assembly, and before tightening your brake rod actuator, that you ensure the brake switch isn't engaged (meaning it will appear as if your brake is always pressed).
-take the time to adjust the shifter side's shift pedal to the right angle while you have it off. I didn't like it's factory angle when wearing boots, but 3" forward, that same angle is about right.

Can someone post a picture of the stryker with the forward controls on. I just bought a stryker 3 weeks ago and have quickly realized I need the forward controls on.
Not the best picture, but you can see the stock mounting position. This is the PCS 3" forward controls, basically the same concept as scootmods. Good reference is the brake pedal, on that picture the base of the pedal lever is in line with the frame down tube. You can reference where your stock brake is to get an idea of where these wind up.
If you are looking for something other than extensions, you can always check out sscustomcycle.com and their forward controls.
Shane should have some pictures up in the next week or so. What I've seen so far is very promising. I've bot a set ordered, but they won't be here for a few weeks.

I posted pics on another thread. Look it up under my name, ddmurf1 in the search engine and it will show my latest post and subsequent pictures that you are in search of. Thanks!

Where can I buy this kit?
As Ogre83 stated or through Scootmods Ebay Store http://stores.ebay.com/scootmodsinc/ . If you don't see it listed for the Stryker just contact them using contact seller and they will put a auction up. Someone else was looking a while back and they put a auction up for over 10 sets and sold out in less then a week.
