I came across this seat at Dennis Kirk:

It's listed as a Parts Unlimited product, who I believe is just a distributor. Does anyone know
if it's actually made by Mustang. I do not see it on the Mustang site, and like the fact that
Dennis Kirk sells the drivers seat by itself.

These are not Mustang seats. I'm not sure who makes them. I have a mustang seat now and ordered one of the Parts Unlimited solo seats. I can tell you what they are like next Wednesday when I get it. Good price and we'll see how comfortable they are.

Looks more like a corbin, wouldent buy if you looking for the comfort of a mustang

I haven't been able to ride with the new seat but it looks good and feels comfortable. The riding position is closer to stock than the mustang seat. I have to take a bunch of photos tonight so I'll post some tomorrow. I've been working on a custom front fender and polishing all the stainless steel bolts. Trying to get it ready for paint in the next couple of weeks.

I am going to get my local shop to copy the style. I will get the flames stitiched in blue if he can do it. It looks like it has more support at the back. It is cheaper for me to get one built here than ship it over.

i like it, i bought the Mustang with backrest seat and plan to have gel pad installed and recovered with something a little cooler than stock

No riding yet. We still have snow until April here in Vermont. I will have some more pics coming up soon. The bike has been chopped, dropped, painted and moded. Stealthy like a SR71 black bird.

I own a tax business so no time yet to even install mine, hoping for a slowdown in the next couple of weeks, really miss my bike
