How much lowered is yours?

I've just ordered the L&M lower spring, which is only an 1" or so. I had removed the upper belt guard, but put it back on since my kids like to jump on the back sometimes, and wasn't comfortable having the belt exposed, so close to my kids foot.

Crap that's not good. Are you running the PCS links? If so what setting do you have them on?

OK so everything is fixed.

The side stand switch wire was cut in 2. The wires for the Neutral switch, Clutch switch were damaged. The bike would start and then die as soon as you put it in gear. Fixed all wires and checked everything over. Its all good now. I moved the main relay box up out of the way so it should be OK from now on.

I have the Progressive shock 1" lower installed and the top belt cover removed. I had been digging through all the wiring under under the seat lately and I may have pushed the relay down further than it should have been. Up until now its been fine. I think it all happened in one shot last night, not a little by little over time. Still, I would recommend checking yours to make sure.

Glad you got it all worked out. I would think you had to have accidentally pushed the relay box down lower for it to rub like that....especially only being dropped 1"

WHEW! You scared me, went out to check and mine are good,I hate wiring! I was able to push the wires up behind the side cover a little bit more though! 8)

I was just thinking that on stock i've managed to even bottom out enough to hit the cobra guard and 'clang' a c ouple times, but then I still need to adjust the suspension shocks... Guess I won't try lowering the bike with my fat ass.
