Okay kids,LOL. Ive been selling parts off my 2007 Roadliner S before I put it up for consignment next week and of course im doing my home work for what I want for my new Stryker when I get it after the Roadliner is sold. Ill be doing alot of two up rideing and im going with a tall quick dissconnect back rest and the Yamaha soft saddel bags. My question's are these.

#1-Im planneing on installing the cobra tri flow black exhaust. Will there be enough of cleareance with the Stryker soft bags?

#2- Is there another set of black brackets I can put on the passenger pegs to lower them slightly and will they clear the Cobra tri flow two into one pipe?

#3- I want the Cobra power flow air filter set up, will my knee hit this set up?

#4- Ive owned just about every Star bike out there and have always bolted on performance items on every one from the Vstar 650,1100,98 Roady,102Roady,102 Warrior and my Liner. On my 2004 "102" I did the "110" big bore and got 95Hp and 119TQ. But the 1304CC Styrker motor is 80CU. Inches and it seems you can get over 80Hp with air,pipe and fuel tuner on it. That is pretty damm good from a power to weight to cu inch ratio. I need a lighter cruiser as I live in the GA mtns with alot of tight turnes and the Liner is just to big and heavy for me.So my long question is, about how much Hp and TQ from the three usuall boltons could I expect from the 1304cc Stryker motor?

#3 Knee won't even get near Powrflo, even less so than stock air cleaner.

#4 Probably only going to sensibly get around 75 HP with those 3 mods.

My 2 cents:

Save yourself some money and buy the tall fixed rest. It only takes 2 minutes to put it on / take it off. Most guys who have the QR just leave it on anyway.

Also do some research before buying the soft bags. Reviews that I've seen say they are small and not waterproof. I bought a set of mutazu hardbags and easybrackets for about $300 total.

Also with this setup, you can mount the bags where you need the to clear the exhaust.

Regarding #2, send a PM to Boolshot. He makes a set of brackets that move the passenger pegs a couple inches down and about an inch forward. My fiance loves them!

Thanks for the feed back. Im getting closer to getting a new 2013 Stryker which I perfer over the 2014 paint schems on the tanks. So far the cheapest dealer is at $9,300.00 and then add the dealer fee (bullcrap) any where from $490.00+. Tax and reg fee seperate. I bought a new 2004 roadstar Silverado and did the 0 down ,0 payments for six months while I tore down my 2002 Warrior and sold all the accessories and then the bike. I did it three weeks before my first payment was due and paid the Roadstar off,LOL. I think im going to do it again with the Stryker while my Liner is on consignment. I remember way back when I bought the Warrior bags and boy were they small,lol. When I ride alone first thing I do is take off the back rest on my Liner. But I have the corbin seats and it just pops in and out of the holes in the seats. But corbin does not have a set up like that yet for the stryker with two seperate seats. I have several tank bags from my previous sport bikes for now and they will come in handy. Im still concenered about the 4 gallon small gas tank, BUT I then rememberd my old 2002 Warrior was also a 4 gallon tank, but then again my old Warrior with the stock bore high compression pistons got 60mpg on a easy cruise!! 50mpg with the stock pistons. So the gas mileage was better.Ill check into the rear peg mounts in due time. Im probably going to go with the Cobra power flow air set up as the only mod for awhile. Im still waiting on my back ordered ram air kit for my new SS convertable Camaro to come of age. So im hurting for performance $$$$$$.lol.
