It's going to be a long winter

Woke up this morning to -15F (-35F with the wind chill) here in Minnesota. Believe it or not...that's not the bad part. The worst part is we hardly have any snow so it's just plain cold with nothing to do. I've always looked forward to riding the motorcycle until the snow flies then bring out the snowmobile. Bring on the snow or let it warm up. Cold and no snow is not good!!

I must have just missed you this past Sunday. I came thru Woodbury and Newport on 494. 5’F at 70mph is really hard on the finger tips and that is what limits my ride time. 30 to 60 minutes in the winter. It’s my 3rd winter riding and I love it. I’ve been out 7 times since Xmas day. It’s a lot like snowmobiling, just different. April is just around the corner, hang in there. ;D
Don
Please tell me you are kidding.

It’s quite exhilarating, give it a try. Just imagine it having 2 ski’s on the front. I always come back with a big smile. “Disclaimer for the Stryker” – It is parked in a 70’F maintenance shop so the engine itself never actually knows how cold it is outside.
The coldest I've been out has been the upper teens low 20'a.... The look on people's faces when you're at a stoplight makes the numb fingers almost it, that's why I went wih the heated grips :)
Same for me. It's funny how driving 60mph on a bike at 20 degrees feels colder than 100mph on a snowmobile where the temp is -10f.
