Just took delivery of my new Stryker! Sold my Honda a couple of weeks ago so I had the room in my garage so I had it delivered to get started on my build. Got a Kustomwerks front fender sitting in the box, Cobra Swepts, Auto Tuner and a Kuryaken Hyper Charger on the way. Still looking at pegs/running boards, grips, lowering links and other goodies. Not quite sure what will go out back fender wise. I have mixed feelings on the Low and Mean fender and really don't like their pricing. I've been in the auto paint and custom business in the past and will look at various options to possibly fab up something. Short term I'll get the performance sorted and the bolt on parts e.g. grips, pegs mirrors etc where I want them. Long term the body work and I've been working at getting my airbrush chops back for paintwork but that's a while off. For now it just looks great sitting in my garage!

CustomLED rear intergrated tail light
Not sure on the rear yet still pondering and depends what I do for a fender. Possibilities include Arlen Ness Jet eye tail light and turn signal set up or maybe an imbedded light in the fender. problem here with integrated turn signals is Mass. law require a certain distance between the turn signals. I don't want to run into problems with annual inspections, to much of a hassle.

I had talked to Soupy's about making the lowering link, but by the time they finally did I had already purchased the PCS. Still would like to know how the one from Soupy's works out. Be sure to let us know if you get that one.

Greetings from Michigan. You'll love the bike
I'm definitely looking forward to the first ride. Was tempted today but with temps hovering around 20 good sense won out. I have spent quite a bit of time in Michigan, South Haven right on the lake. Had a good friend who's dad lived there and visited a couple of times a year. Also had some of my photography in a gallery there. Unfortunately they have both passed away and I don't get back there much.

I'm leaning in that direction both for the strength and the adjust-ability as I will be riding 2 up with the wife from time to time. I'll keep you posted.

I got my stryker new in 2011 and i'am still moding it. :whoo::whoo::whoo:
That's half the fun for me. In the past I've done a Harley Sportster, Kawi GS850, Suzuki Intruder, Honda Superhawk 996 and a Kawi KX250 motocrosser for my self and a number of Harley's for customers back when I was in the paint business. I think the only bike I left mostly stock was my VStar 1100.

Glad to hear your joining us Stryker riders.
I saw the Stryker last year in the showroom when I bought my Super Hawk. Fell in love with it but didn't have the finances at the time. I sold the Hawk a couple of weeks ago. Hated to see it go as it was one of the most fun to ride bikes I've owned but the wife would ride on the back of it. I've had a number of cruisers in the past including a Vstar 1100, an Intruder, and a Harley. The Stryker just seemed right to me and I think it will be a great platform to build. Kind of a dream come true to take a brand new bike and do a build although I would like to put a few miles on it before tearing into the mods but I don't think the weather (or my patience) will cooperate. I'm looking forward to sharing the experience with all of you.

LOL when I first bought mine I thought no need to do any mods. This bike looks great out of the create. Now as I'm rapidly closing in $3k in mods I keep thinking just one or two more and I'll be done. Just one or two more....
The first thing my wife said to me after the bike was delivered "you don't need to change it, it looks great just the way it is". Course I had already ordered $1500 worth of parts so.........what ya gonna do!
