With a quick search I didn't see any info on Ivan's new upgrade to the ECU flash.
Yes. Ivan has upgraded the flash. He stated ALL new upgrades are free for customers that have it done, just pay shipping.
New flash takes care of any fuel mix issues so you no longer need a tuner.
Getting 89.6 hp & 92.8 torque with no tuner.

Toby...Just a note but that's the dyno graph from the Vstar1300 not the stryker.. he hasn't posted new dyno charts for the new tune yet. Unless he's told you he finally had the 2 bikes matched for power now.

I'm aware of all of that. I haven't spoke to him yet myself, but I will be in the near future because I will be sending in my Stryker ECU to get the upgrade and also a 1300 deluxe to get it flashed at the same time.

As far as I know Ivan hasn't done a dyno run with the Stryker, at least he hasn't posted a new chart on his web sight.
But these are the same motors, so.
As more info become available I'll post it and I'm sure others will too.
However, it's very possible you get just a little more out of the Stryker, maybe less IDK yet.

Sorry Toby. I didn't want others to think There was a new dyno chart for the stryker..
The difference in power with the Vstar1300 over the Stryker is probably as simple as the front pulley.. Changing that ratio will change power output and torque ranges. the consensus is using the stryker pulley on the VSTAR lowers rpms on the highway but also drops take off power..so this may be the difference in power there is between the stryker vs the VSTAR.. I'm very happy with Ivan's tune.. but I am interested in the update as it must have fueling changes to completely eliminate the need for a fuel tuner. Still hands down the best Mod for the 1300 engine.

Somebody on the facebook stryker page talked to Ivan and said Ivan said he made the changes in the ECU top end fuel mapping.

yes, I sent mine to Ivan for the upgrade 3 weeks ago. Completely removed the cobra fuel tuner and the bike has never run better. Very quick throttle response, no lag what so ever. Highly recommend.
Thanks joker61 how do you do this? Do you have to contact him first via email or phone, or you can just send it directly to him with the return postage.

I have a Vstar 1300 Deluxe and it has the same lurching problem the Strker had before Ivan's ECU tune.
Just so you guys know the Deluxe has a 30 tooth pulley.
The problem is in the ECM factory settings to EPA regulations.

I'd always contact him first. He does take vacations and have family obligations. Nothing worse than the perfectly good ECU sitting at his place gathering dust because of a a lack of communication!!

Unplanned downtime sucks period :)

just give him a call so that he has a heads up that you will be sending in your ECU. Go to his website and follow the instructions for sending back EXACTLY and then ship it off. He turns it around the same day he gets it in most cases and sends it back via FEDEX.

sorry if i missed a sticky on what the flash does but if i were to do the flash on my future stryker, would i still need to tune it after replacing the pipes and possibly air intake or does the flash automatically do that?

or do i need to know beforehand what i am putting on the bike before i send it to get flashed?

my ECU is on its way back. i think he had it done within 2 hours of receiving it. pretty impressive.
But i forgot to ask him what grade fuel to run and i didn't want to call him just yet if anyone can maybe tell me.

i have the cobra swept full exhaust and cobra powerflo intake.
