Well its been over a year since I purchased my Stryker and I am ready to do some real customization. Some of this things I have done so far--

Low & Mean taillight mod along with Radiantz integrated license plate holder
Cobra Swept pipes
Cobra ProFlo Air Intake
Cobra Fi200 w/CVT Technology
Cobra Radiator Cover
Yamaha Engine Guards
Kurykan Iso Grips
Kurykan Swing Wings
Boulevard windshield with 17" Rifle replacement shield
Demon Cycle Aspen Z mirrors
PIAA Horn
PCS Lowering Links
Yamaha upper chrome belt guard
Yamaha short quick-release backrest

Yesterday, my hubby and I dismantled my Stryker in preparation for its new look. Spent an hour with the painter today discussing my theme. Looks like 4-6 weeks since I was lucky enough to get in before the other 6 bikes he is planning to work on.

So here are a couple pictures. When I first brought it home and what it looked like before dismantling. And of course my current state of nakedness (the bike that is) ;).

Stay tuned for the pictures of the finished project. Maybe a few progress pics. 8)

Yes, I was definitely a giddy school girl at the painter today. ;D

Pics look great clothed and unclothed! Gonna be really cool seeing what you have done Patrice! Early Xmas Huh?
Thanks. Actually a late anniversary present. But won't be getting much more for Christmas. That's OK, I am so looking forward to seeing it completed. :)

I'm excited for ya. Done a great job so far! Have you won Stryker of the Month yet?
Thanks. Not yet. Maybe some day.

I'm sure it will be really sharp once completed. You color choice is my oldest daughter's favorite. And the rest of the forum will have to wait for that info unless you want to divulge!

In the meantime it looks sort of bobberish...
If we get Indian Summer you just have to get the seat mounted so we can ride. You have a gallon in the reserve. Might be tricky to refill at the pump but I'm sure Steve can cobble something together:)
No divulging secrets Billy. ;) Yeah, it would be a little difficult to ride with no seat and gas tank. If we get some warm days in the next month and want to ride I could always have Steve put his back seat on and he can ride "b**ch".lol ;D

My painter told me 5-7 work days to paint my Stryker. Over 3 months later I'm still waiting. Guess if he's not working on it then it doesn't count as a work day
That's a huge difference in time. I think I would go to another painter.

I have nominated you a couple of times ;D
Thanks Jan. Maybe some day I will be worthy of that nomination. Its not all about the win, its just bragging rights. Anyways, this customization is for me. Just something I have wanted to do.

I want pics if you ride B$$ch.
You didn't read this correctly, I said he (Steve) was going to ride "b**ch".
Added a new (L&M) mod yesterday. And a new Yamaha mod is partially installed. What you ask? Its a surprise... 8)

Will be revealed when the paint job is complete. Sorry....the little devil in me made me do this. LOL ;D
Billy, you are tough. Ok one mod will make it brighter the other is just for looks. Is that enough of a hint?

I will talk to Steve tonight about riding some tomorrow and let you know. Riding [email protected]#ch is just a teaser for me. I could do it, but would prefer to ride myself. Still may talk to our Raider friend, unless he wants to ride.
Ok, just added Breakaway Cruise Control. Should be great especially on my trip to Maggie Valley next year.

Added some more mods --

Low & Mean swingarm covers, Yamaha running lights and Blue Speck Line effect lighting kit (15 colors - 4 modes). Oh and I had to throw in a picture the hubby took of me working on installing the effect lights. Sorry, I still need to make a video of the effect lights.

Yea, Im no Facebooker either! Looks great with all you have done Patrice! How is the Paint job progressing?
Thanks. Its coming along. I haven't even been able to take a peek at it yet. I think the painter has been off a couple days for the holiday, since this is his side work. Hoping to catch him in his shop today and get a peek. ;)

I think you are right, that's why I continued to try youtube and then finally got it.

Saw a pic of you working on your bike up in the gallery. I just wanted to stop by and say "God [email protected] that's attractive." Even though I can only see the back of your head, a gal with a power tool in her hand working on a bike is just awesome. Your hubby is one lucky man!
Thanks Mike. I can't do everything myself, but I quite capable of some things. ;) I too am lucky to have my hubby who does some of the more difficult things. He has done quite a bit of the installs on my bike, but I am usually there to help if he doesn't do them before I get home. I also helped him install his new bars on his bike, that was quite a job. :)

It's cool to see that your doing your own work! It makes you appreciate whats been done more, nice job!
Thanks Straightjacket. It really does make one appreciate when they do it themselves or even with help. ;)
