Just installed a set up Kuryakyn ISO grips on my bike but I have a concern on the throttle side. The stock throttle has a threaded end cap that basically keeps the mounted to the bar. The new ISO grips do not have any end cap to keep them on. It basically just fixes itself the plastic assemble that houses the kill switch, starter, cable assembly, etc... Am I missing something or is all that secures it from coming off? Sorry if it's a stupid question but for obvious reasons I'd prefer to not have the throttle fly off when I'm driving. Thanks in advance.

The threaded part on the end of the grip was an end weight to help with handlebar vibration. As Mike said, it is not needed.

Couldnt find another Kury grip thread so figured i would ask on this one.

I installed some Kuryakyn ISO grips but as i was sliding the left side on some glue seeped out and got on my hands. I now have some of that black widow glue on my grips. Got some on the rubber and some on the black metal.

Is there any way to get that glue off without destoying the grip and making it look worse than what it is? I would hate to spend another $70 bucks to replace it.

Thanks, I think i got most of it off and it is barely noticeable now other than a little dulling of the black in a couple of spots which is ok by me. Here are the things i tried. Nothing worked perfectly but by trying all of these I at least got it to where i can live with it.

1. Nail Polish Remover
2. Rubbing Compound
3. Maguires plastic polish
4. Gasoline
5. Hot water and soap
6. Mothers wax

I was pretty much reaching for anything i could find that i thought would help.
