When I spoke to Chris at Low and Mean he was saying that they will make a few in Silver to see what they look like. Want the Chrome but not the $200. But if not I might order the black and paint it myself like you did. The magnet is a great idea. When I asked Chris how does it prevent someone from taking it, he told me it goes on before you put the gas cap on and the gas cap locks it on.

haha true. im going to put 3M double sided tape on mine. Mine didnt come with magnets. i like the idea but if you bump it, it might move and get scratched by the cap.

i think i am going to get one of these as well.. probably in the black and leave it black... soon my bike will be all denim black, just as soon as i can afford the paint and sanding stuff

not sure if they come in good enough quality to just throw on the bike. mine was pitted in a few places, i had to primer and sand it first. maybe they are updated now with the magnets and quality finish

either way it will still be cheaper than chrome... lol... and its not hard to paint it matte black like i did with the other chrome stuff

The back side quality is not that good needs some finish work before it goes on , the top however is good , some time I want to have my tank painted only black , so right now I like the idea of easy on and off with the maginets.

yeah i am soon sending my bike to paint.... going denim black with a custom airbrushing on the tank... cant wait

Denim is like a matte right ? That will look good

yeah.... its just gonna be a little bit lighter of a shade than matte... and then i am going to have some matte red airbrushing like some pinstripes on the fenders and design that i have found ghosted on the tank... if i can get that design on my comp i will show you it... i have also thought about putting a wanted dead or alive poster with the grim reaper as the wanted person on it on the rear fender.. lol

yeah i got a buddy of mine gonna paint it for free as long as i pay for the paint and other supplies... and then i got another buddy that will do the airbrushing for a couple hundred...

i cant wait either... i really dont like those wings on the side of the tank right now.. lol... wish i could just yank them off
