Works but you have to cut the connecting bar off. Still works fine without the bar. I accidentally tried mine out 3 years ago when I forgot to put down kickstand.

Thinking hard about ordering this weekend as the price is awesome, BUT....

I did a tour through the local paint shop alley for cars and they all looked at me like I was on glue. "We don't paint motorcycle parts?!?" It appears they all are hooked on the government run insurance crack that is the car repair game.

I love the look but I can't stomach the $235 USD price for them to paint it.

What has been the experience and pricing on the rattle can Colourite (notice the Canadian spelling?

I believe AR painted his, and it looks amazing. The color or colour match is top notch, better than what L&M did on mine.
I`m sure a few others have painted their own on here as well.
I can`t believe you can`t find a place over there. Did you try places that specialize in hot rods? I had a local shop here willing to paint my whole bike as long as I kept the graphics to just webs.
