Am I correct in understanding that this will have no padding or material other than the pan itself? If so, where is a good place to send these off to get them finished up? I would think a small amount of padding and a gel pad would be enough to make it comfortable while also keeping its slim profile. Any thoughts or ideas?

I had looked at corbin as well, but nothing comes close to how slim the L&M seat is. I'm may hit up the guy in your link. I had seen his post before but forgot about it.

I waiting for the seat pan this way my seat will be one of a kind. You bring it to anybody who does upholstery. Look for someone who works on cars and boats. You choose the type and amount of padding. The type of leather or leatheret, or whatever you want it covered in. I'm looking at two tone leather and a stitching in the seat portion.

Bottom line, no matter how nice Corbin or Danny Gray seats are, the price is really high. Worth the money, but I'll end up with a seat just as nice for half the price. :)
