from the posts i have read, its ok to use any oil to the right visc. as long as it does not have the conserving arc on the API cert., right???
i see many use the rotella non synth. 15w-40 diesel oil. ive always been told full synth. is best for m/c's. thats all ive ever run in my HD's.

I change my own oil n personally use the Yamahalube Semi synthetic... I think lol I 4get allot lol but it's the grey container one.. I use the 20/50 cuz of the weather here in Diego

theres really not much difference in the oils even though people will swear by it I personally am sticking with mobil 1 full syn 20w-50 just because of the high temperatures we are having here in southeast texas over 100 degrees everyday I'm really getting sick of this insanely hot weather this year I would recommend running a motorcycle oil because of the clutches and atleast a 10w-40 or higher. HD have to run a 20w-50 full synthetic because most of them are air cooled with these liquid cooled its not as important but does add extra protection and better shifting and the bike will run cooler

there is no oil on the market that can beat AMSOIL for motorcycle performance and wear and tear. if you wanna keep the bike for a long time there's only one choice.. AMSOIL synthetic

no my cousin that races pro motocross and the rest of the top 10 Canadian riders did... but thanks for the retarded comment.
Oh and by the way his official sponsor is yamalube and he wont even use their oil b/c it only lasts one to two races... AMSOIL lasts during practice and the day of races. but if you really wanna use an inferior product like mobile 1 or Castrol its your bike and i cant stop you.......

no problem man and I will keep using other oils 8) not trying to start a pissing match man I'm on several different forums for my f250, h3, polaris, and for my camaro yeah alot of forums and theres always someone that comes in bashing the other oils and saying amsoil is so so great and your engine will seize up if you don't run it blah blah blah. I have run amsoil, mobil 1, penzoil, and catrol all full synthetics in all my vehicles and they all performed the same. I don't like amsoil because all they like to do is bash on all the other oil companys, and all the test that you find comparing amsoil is all done by amsoil. IMO they all have great protection and one really isn't better then the other.
