I decided to buy the same swing arm bag as a couple of other members have. It is a nice bag and the leather is super stout and it seems that it will last a long time.

Here is the bag and 4 leather straps that come with it.

One great thing about this bad is it has quick releases under the straps. Makes it very easy to open and close.

I decided to fab up an additional bracket (the bigger one) so help secure it to the bike.

This is where I put the additional bracket. It really helped support the bag.

You will also see that I used some thick zip ties for the bottom of the bag.

All done and buttoned up.

As I was rolling back into the garage, I realized something...lol... I need to loosen the zip ties a little because the swing arm and rear peg mounts move independently....lol... That was a great brainfart.. So tomorrow I will probably put the leather straps on the bottom.

Thanks again for taking the time and answering the questions I had about it.
Looks nice. I think the internal bracket is a good idea. Where did you buy yours from? I'm planning on getting one.

No problem
Looking great - i will do the same , but instead a swing arm bag i will use a tool bag i bought ( just waiting for it to be delivered ) - will use 2 brackets as well , but since my bag is not as tall as Yours no need for additional zip ties on the bottom - i really like the location were the bag is mounted - is a clean look - and i love it - great job - i will post a pic or two when i am done with mine ------- can`t wait for mine to be installed so i can empty my packets when riding :)))

Here is where I mounted a tool bag. It's up a little higher than the swing arm.

I REALLY love the look of that bag. I wonder if its in the way for the passenger foot though .... Any comments on that!?

There is enough room for the passengers foot. Would you like a closer picture with the peg down?

For sure thanks! I am seriously considering that bag!
Your bike is looking real nice Urban. That bag looks sweet on there.

Here are the pics you have asked for. I don't ride 2up but if I did, I am sure it would get a little uncomfortable for the passenger. Easy fix though, just make the top bracket that comes off the peg support longer. It wouldn't take much maybe one or two inches.

Ya, I'm diggin those bags also! That was one of the first things I wanted to do to mine and have just never gotten around to it?
Looks good, I'll have to check it out tomorrow.
I think it looks great too, I'm just a cheap bastard, and that bag is kind of expensive. Unfortunately I am cheap because I don't have the extra cash, not just because... LOL
The zip tie problem was an easy fix. I cut the hooks off a black bunjee cord and tied one end knot. Then I pulled the untied end through a washer, out of the bag, around the swingarm, back into the bag and finally back through the washer. Once I got the tension right, I tied a knot in the other end and BOO-BAM.. done.. Seems to work awesome and I will find out tomorrow on my 3 hour ride up to Straightjackets place.
Nice job, Urban. Gotta say its my favorite mod on my bike.
