how hard is it to run the wiring for the LED lights? I have limited experience with automotive electric systems and ZERO with motorcycles, but I love the look of these and do not want to pay somebody if its fairly easy to do myself.

LED's are a very low current drawing device, so you don't need mega wire. A 22 or 20 gauge wire is more than adequate to supply "LEDs" with the current they need. The smaller wire is easily concealed. LEDs are diodes, which makes them a 1 input, 1 output device or only 2 wires. That makes them + and - controlled. Keep the reds together, keep the blacks together and you are off and running. Most aftermarket LEDs come setup for 12V or 13.4 automotive applications. A standard LED that you buy at Radio Shack is not a 12V LED. The LED device by itself is a 1.5V to 2V device. Resistors are added to make the LED capable of being run on a 12V (13.4) automotive system.

Here is a link to a site that sells some nice electrical protection and decorating items.

Good luck.

Easy. What were you thinking of? Brakes, turns, accent lights? Run a search and you'll find plenty of info to get you started. Just remember to fuse anything that doesn't already have one ;)
Can you be more specific as to what LED's your talking about motochef?

I'm thinking about doing accent lights, sorry I should have been more specific as to what I was referring to. Is the fuse box under the tank or under the seat? I tried to look today when I got to work but really didn't have a chance. I'm assuming its just a black/red wiring that you screw into a fuse slot and insert a fuse and your done?

I like to use inline fuse holders (you could probably get away with a 2A fuse) like this one http://www.frys.com/product/6579493?source=googleps . You can hook it up directly to a battery or keyed power (depending on your needs) then to a switch mounted anywhere convenient then to your string of LEDs that are connected to a ground (any good bolt on the frame exposed to bare metal).
