Where is the best place to get power from? Not familiar with this bike yet.
I just need to power up a couple of led light strips that I'm putting under the tank.

Seeing as the tank is so close to the battery and fuse box located under the seat...I'd vote for that.

I should have been clear and ask what wire specifically.
Don't want to tap into a computer wire and jack something up.
If all else fails, I could always go straight to the battery and use a switch.

I actually bought a hard copy for my V-Star 650 Custom.
Did all the work on it myself.
I just got the Stryker Thurs and put the Cobra slip-on on Fri.
Haven't had a chance to read up a lot on the Stryker yet.

I had lights on my 06 Boulevard I had before my Stryker, and just wired it straight from the battery, with an inline fuse and toggle switch, to make sure I didn't mess with anything. Plan on doing the same on my Stryker, when I get her back.

Did you get a waterproof switch or just a regular switch?
My buddy's bike is wired to the batt with switch and a fuse holder.

I ran my wires up into the headlight and tapped into the running lights. Factory fused, and switched. did this for the tank and front fender. rear fender I used the license plate light.
