Ya it's a hollow tip torx you can get at most auto parts store.Natedog said:Whats with the security bolt on the left side cover? Did you guys get a special allen key in their toolkit for this? I didn't.
You got it Deja!dejablu110 said:its a security bolt...you have to get a security type allen head for it
I guess they put it there because of needing a key to open the seat
compartment.
I go to AutoZone for this kind of thing. They'll usually bring the tools out to the bike and try it until they find one that fits. It may cost a little more, but you're also getting service and convenience along with it.Natedog said:Yeah. I assumed that was the reason why it's there. But why not give the key? Stupid move. Now I have to go to the store and try to find the right one. It's not like I can take it off and into the store to test different ones.
Sorry. Things like this really bug me![]()
Agreed, It is the only weird fastener on the bike for a reason. Make sense!RedStar said:Come on guys! It's not difficult It's a security measure to keep your bike more secure, just get the tool and get over it! ;D

That new Strat is badass!!11stryker said:Cool, My Son has a Raptor 660R also. He Had a blaster before that. He wants me to give him my Stryker and then I could get the New Customized Stratoliner at the dealership. My wife will never let this happen though LMAO
The stratoliner that the dealer has is a new 2009 damaged one that he modded for himself, but is now going to sell it instead. If it is still there next time I go I will take a pic for yall.RedStar said:That new Strat is badass!!11stryker said:Cool, My Son has a Raptor 660R also. He Had a blaster before that.
