So the side mount for the plate broke the bracket that holds the upper belt guard , yes someone else warned about that, it broke in half cheap pot medal.
So I needed a new spot for my tag and I don't want to do a axle mount, so good bad or indifferent here it is on the fender ,I plan on using 2 led bolt lights for lighting & the lolipop turns are temp waiting on a taillight I ordered.
this way the cops can see it and it will never drag or break in a turn.
Its more practical than pretty.

I might bob tail the fender not sure yeat?

When I first bought this bike, I felt that a fender mounted plate would have been much better than that crap tail it came with. Looks good, I have been thinking of doing something very similar.

LMAO.. I told you Clar..... It really pissed me off when I found out it broke. I tried to use JB Weld to fix it, but it didn't work out. I ended up taking off the rear tire and hitting with the welder. Just a little tack weld and it has worked great.

I must say that is a different spot to mount the plate. I am interested to see the final product. Is the plate visible from the behind the bike?

Hi UrbanRage I could not remember who had that problem should of listened lamo pot medal could not believe it broke like that , So the licenese plate frame bent to match the fender curves , I do want to find one a little more sleek , then install the 2 bolt leds to light it , and install the new tail light with intergrated turn signals. I try to post up some pics this weekend.
I'm lucky to make it home safely with that broken mount came back from a fun mountain run on some good curves, was just checking the bike when I noticed.

have you had a chance to look at and come up with a fix yet?
Mine broke at the top of the bracket so I just drilled a hole and added a piece of medal to extend it so the belt gurd would go back on , in a severe case like yours breaking at the bottom most likely would weld a new poiece on.
