Has anyone found a decent and easy to install license relocate kit? The 2 bolts on the belt guard look like a good place to mount but im trying to find something aluminum or chromed before I start fabricating something myself. I eventually would like to add the LED strip under the rear fender for tail/brake/turn. My buddy did one on his fury and its very clean and brighter than my stock light.

I tried bending up a bracket for the belt guard bolts.
I got the plate angle wrong and almost started making another when I noticed how close the passenger peg is to it. For me, I didn't want my wife cutting herself getting on/off the bike.
I gave up and bought a road6custom.com vertical side mount bracket for the axle, part number is sku 00043 and its on sale, $24, I think, shipped.
I went to fleabay and bought the plate housing w/built-in led light. It was less than $30. I will post a little thread on it in the how-to section later.

Did you have to remove the axle to install the new bracket?

Yes, the axle came out. A long breaker bar helped, too!
It's a lot easier than you think.

Here's what I did. It uses the two lower bolts from the belt guard. It's set up to be horizontal or vertical. It doesn't scrap around turns when in vertical. Proboly will when horizontal. But it will only be that way to get a ticket signed off.

Did you fab your plate bracket Yosemite or buy it somewhere? I've looked all over for one that pivots like that. I gave up when the only one I could find was $200+.

I fabed it myself. Not very hard. Two pieces of aluminum, 4 screws and lighted plate frame. Thought about moving to the top screw holes so it it needs to be mounted horizontal it won't scrape.
