My neighbor bought the fury and I went with the stryker. He says his brakes are linked and that mine probably are also. I don't remember seeing anything in the manual about linked brakes. I just sold a silverwing that had them and I know the crazy **** Honda pulls with regard to 'safety'. I've read that the Fury is electronically limited to 99mph, and my silverwing had the ignition retarted under 20mph to prevent wheel spin at takeoff. I swear Honda knows how to take the fun out of everything. This is my first cruiser and I love it. It handles great and the torque puts grins on my face at every light. Also digging the self canceling signals (that kind of safety i appreciate). So someone please tell me my brakes are normal. 8)

XPS, you might want to get that checked. The manual states that it will cancell after 15 seconds of blinking as long as the bike is rolling. Timer stops while you are stopped like at a red light. I find this to be true on mine.

They only cancel based on a timer not lean. At least that is my experience.
Again....lke I mentioned before, if that was the case, How come when I'm just switching lanes they would stay on till the cows come home until I switched it off... Read the manual... It works on a TILT (LEAN)!

From Page 4-7/4-8 of the owners manual.

"Since this model is equiped with a self-cancelling system, the turn signal lights will self-cancel after the vehicle has travelled both about 150m (490ft) and for approximately 15 seconds"

It goes on to state.

"TIP: The self-cancelling system only operates when the vehicle is moving, so that the turn signal lights will not self-cancel while you are stopped at an intersection"

I myself find this to be true of the way my turn signal system is working.

Raider is the same....and states the same in the manual. It is a very nice feature.....now back to
linked brakes, start a thread on the blinker issue if need be.
