What is the purpose of the little bell people put on thier motorcycles ? i've seen them before and i really wanna know... here is an example , under the RAD

Yeah, Most of them come with a small prayer on a tag. They are supposed to keep the bike safe and what not....or provide an annoying noise as you ride

meant to add that as well the actual thing behind it is you can by it yourself but if someone gives it to you the strength is doubled. My wife gave me mine so i'm double protected ;D

yeah...one of my buddies has one on his bike also. we didnt know what it was called but he said it would keep away the evil road spirits, and he did mention they couldnt be bought for yourself. soo now i know what to tell him. good q&a guys.

I pulled over an old vet one night that was on his way to LA riding his panhead and then they were going on a ride from LA to Washington DC to the Vietnam Memorial. we got to talking bikes and he asked me if i was a vet as well and i informed him i was indeed a disabled vet. when i told him this he reached into his saddle bag and gave me a bell. he then went on to explain what it is for and how i should put it on my bike.

i tried to not take it but he then just sat it on the hood of my patrol car and walked back to his bike.. i just wish i could have returned the favor some how but unless he rides through again i may never see him again...

no i actually stopped him because his taillight kept going off and then back on again... he had a loose connection fixed on the stop... and no, no ticket. like i have said before you gotta be doing something really stupid for me to give you a ticket
