Couldn't wait any longer to get out on the roads. Sun was shining and the roads were dry so I said the **** with it. Yes....thats a whole lot of snow.
More pis in a bit when I get my paws on them from a friend.

Anyone with Pics of Stupid weather you've ridden in?

Did get out yesterday. Sunny and chilly in the 40's. Road down the back roads of curittuck sounds and took a few pics. Came across over 20,000 birds hanging out in the marsh. Bird watchers said they came down from Canada cause of the weather. Never seen anything like it. Pic is not forgiving as it was in person. Plus it was taken from my phone. But it was a beautiful site....

Unfortunately, don't have pictures, but many years ago, I did ride my Yamaha Vision in the snow (without the roads being cleared) in Germany. Course, I was young and invincible then. Older and hopefully a little smarter now.

my sarcasm detector is in overdrive lmao, but yes I feel a bit better now
No sarcasm at all. Just crazy like you said. You are much braver than I would be. I would be afraid to take mine out for the reason of maybe some ice or snow patch on the road. Its great that you got it out, wish I could take mine out. :thumb:

If I was from Michigan maybe. However, I grew up down South and it has taken me six winters just to start to handle the cold here. Really looking forward to a couple of warm months before heading to the Rock for six.

Ouch... right around 1:47 this guy hits ice... http://www.youtube.com/embed/mD3MuL99r9U
Feel for him. Wife and I ride conditions like that more than we should. Been lucky so far. Rule of thumb, When temps are or have been below freezing any place that looks wet is ice. Never go more than 10 to 15 mph over it. The kind of ice he hit is almost impossible to ride over but we have made it safely several times. I don't know what he did to cause him to loose it?
