Saturday is supposed to be on and off with the rain, so maybe I can get them installed in between raindrops, and then Sunday is supposed to be a little better, so I'll just stay local and enjoy the upgrades. Monday is supposed to be beautiful, so I think I'll take a ride to Mt Greylock and really see how it runs.......kinda wishing I ordered the Cobra slip-ons at the same time. I guess that will have to wait until next week since I'm going to order them when I get out of work :))))

just love the delivery guys - my MS batwing came in yesterday and the wifes new helmet.. I've got the fairing on, and now just need to measure the length of shield I want to order from LRS (http://longrideshields.com/xcart/MemphisUltra.html) which they are having a 40% off sale for memorial day weekend.! woot! Having some other goodies arriving next week.. Just wish I had the funds to keep the goodies flowing in!

Modding is such an expensive hobby! lol

I have that intake and tuner with the Cobra slip-ons. Very happy with the combination. Real strong in 2nd and 3rd gear.
Maybe it's just me, but it seems like there is a lot of difference in between 1st and 2nd gear. 1st seems to rev up very quick, and 2nd doesn't seem to have enough bottom end. Taking a turn from a stop, I always find myself wanting/having to shift before I even finish making the turn, and when I do it lugs cuz the rpms are too low for 2nd. Does either one, or the combo help with that?

Just got these in this morning. :D Now if it would only stop raining :(

Fun Fun Fun! I'm with you on the rain. Long weekend and sh**y weather. Monday looks like the day. I'm hoping to get my tank and fairing cleared and the head out for a bit of a ride. Might be out in the Berkshires too, maybe I'll run into you.

Maybe those who did the pulley swap can answer this. I know what you mean but making it breath easier is not going help with it lugging. Those who swapped the pulley to a 30 tooth said this is how the bike should have been setup in the first place.

It hasn't stopped pouring all day in Palmer. Hoping to put the intake and processor in Sunday, and maybe take a ride out to Mt Greylock on Monday.
