I was looking at security systems for my bike and found something interesting is a disc lock that has an alarm.
I've been considering to buy an alarm system like the scorpio or the gorilla but this looks promising too.

I haven't had any personal experience with the one your looking at. As for the Gorilla, the box is fairly big...I have mine mounted on the front forks because there is no room under the seat, honestly all it would take is someone quickly ripping the plug out to disable it. There is really only 3 places to put it, front of the forks, under the battery (provided you don't have the lowering kit), in the chin scoop if you have the L&M scoop. I think for ease of use and fitment the best bet would be the Scorpio.

Personally I would go the electronic route...card key system..fob.

I just wouldn't want to deal with a physical device.

I put the scorpio on my bike last year and love it heres the post with some pic's i put up with mounting and wlfpak65 put up some better pics after he installed his. mounted it to the bottom of the tank.

i went on ebay and got a spy3000 2 way pager alarm with remote start....

wiring is pretty basic except that you need 2 relays, some of the bikes switches are positive switched, and others negative, but other than that, sweet alarm with dual stage shock sensor and a microwave sensor. can set to be extremely sensitive if wanted. plus pager is nice when at the bar or whatever.

This is a 590A1. Very similar but if you look close you can see the bayonet mount at the rear of the flashlight/laser. They also have a thicker wall barrel than the 500.

I thought that was the front mount for handle bar
