I am searching for removable bags. Either saddle or tail. I am not wanting to keep bags on the bike at all times, just while going to and from work. I carry my lunch and rain gear with me. I am not a fan of wearing a backpack the whole time, but want something that can be easily removed when I arrive at work. Any suggestions?

Check the claasifieds, I think there is at least one set of side mounts on there.

I'm about to get one of these:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0041QFOWI/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_6?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1QMOGWERWEUPX

Be careful of Power Sport Superstore though. I have had some not to pleasant experiences with their customer service.

They are sold at other places.

My two cents
I just looked at this on Amazon, and it said it doesn't fit the Stryker. I know that Amazon doesn't know a lot about bikes, but it makes me worry. I do like that one review says you can fit your rain gear and lunch. Thanks for the tip.

I have easy brackets on another bike. They are really nice. However, when you sell your bike, you have to sell the brackets.

If you want to transfer your brackets to another bike someday, get the ghost brackets or whatever they call them now. They are adjustable and will fit other bikes.

Example: Fender bolts on my old bike are 5 1/2 inches apart, center to center. The Stryker bolts center to center are 6 1/2 inches apart. I would have to have the brackets on my other bike fabricated to fit the Stryker due to the mounting holes not being aligned the same for both bikes.

I could have fabricated the brackets to fit the Stryker and had the lock mechanism moved so it would work, but I might as well have bought a new set of brackets for the cost and trouble.

I spoke to Easy Brackets about this issue. The only remedy they had for me was to sell me a new set for the Stryker at a 10% discount.

If I ever go the removable route again, I will use Ghost Brackets (Changed their name, not sure what they are calling them now). They will fit a large variety of bikes.

My two cents

If you save the bolts from the fender when you install the Easy Brackets, you can easily swap them back out when you sell. Install is super simple. I would recommend buying some stainless steel bolts to attach the bags to the brackets though. Not crazy about the ones they sent.

I actually got a set of vintage soft saddlebags from ~ 1960/70's off etsy. The kind you can toss over your shoulder when you get off. Just need to bring in the center piece of leather a tad as the right bag is a little close to the exhaust. The vintage bags look good with Blue and chrome. Ill toss some pics up in a couple days.
