I just had a quick question.. I see Low and Mean is offering some nice discounts through the group buy and thinking of making the purchase of the front fender.. I tried doing some searches and can't seem to find the install procedure.. Is this something that can be accomplished on my own.. Not all that mechanically inclined here.. Is it just a matter of unbolting the old and bolting up the new? Or is it a whole process? Thanks for any info..

I haven't done it yet but will tomorrow when my order arrives. I believe it's just remove the bolts slide the old one out then back in with the new being careful not to scratch it up. The longer side of the full wrap is on the back so probably be easier going in from the back of the wheel so less chance of scratching anything. I'm sure someone else will chime in and fill you in but I would say this could be done by someone with little mechanical ability. If anything it's a learning experience and gives one a sense of pride in doing their own work . ;D

I tried to take my fender off the other day to put on my L&M fender. The bolts/nuts didnt want to budge. I didnt want to crank on it too much without somebody to hold the bike steady. Any suggestions on getting the stock bolts off?

May have to apply torch heat to area around threads- I know- You don't want to, but it will soften the Loctite enough for you to turn them out.

Swapping the fenders are easy. The supplied rubber washers are a tight fit on the bolts buts it's nothing difficult. The hardest part for me was tightening the bolts while keeping the fender straight so it wouldn't rub on the tire.

With the bike in gear, I used a breaker bar with even constant pressure with no problems.
