Just took a look at the Low and Mean custom build. Great looking bike. They did a great job. To bad it is on a 950 CC. Would be so much better on a larger CC bike. Hats off to Low and Mean for using MOJO for thier faceplate design. Great to see one of our very own members getting some recognition.

I have to be honest there are a some things i like about the bike some i don't but thats ok he did not build it to just please me. I like the handle bars. I think i would have put the copper mesh in all of the chin scoop should be enough air to cool the motor? What i dont like is the lights on the back being to small especially the turn signals. I did not care for the left rear luggage compartment. But all together its nice.

I can imagine the discussion over the exhaust and rear bag/ fender. Seems like someone wanted the exhaust and another wanted the bag, and there was a compromise that looks goofy.
The fogs lights I guess don’t look like they fit the build. The white paint scheme looks like they didn’t want to paint the fender or chin scoop and just slapped it on the last minute.
The copper screen on the exhaust will not last, if someone were to use the motorcycle.
I wonder how well it goes over Phoenix’s speed bumps.
I do like the lower seat and “rear tire” idea.

You know, no matter what your tastes are, and everybodys are different! They do nice work! I like the fact that there steppin into new areas, with a different approach. They built that bike to show off what they can do not that they want to sell THAT exact bike to everyone, ****, there givng it away!
Now for my .02 I f I put that much time and money into a bike that low an air ride system would be nice. To be able to have the looks, and not look like an idiot if I were to go to say, Phoenix and brake off the rear fender on one of there famous speed bumps. ;)

Certainly not a bike I would think to build for myself. That said, they've done an awesome job and I would ride the ****e out of it if I won it. When you think about it, these guys are unbelievable. They create truly custom parts for FACTORY bikes. Every other site, tv show or magazine focuses on custom or HD bikes and these guys put together parts and videos on the Stryker when no one from a sales volume standpoint had one yet and statistically still don't I'm sure. ****, I've had my bike for a year this month and the only other Strykers I've seen in that time are on this site. I've seen one other custom rear fender for the Stryker and they want almost $700 for it. Sure, I'll take two.

A business strategy that includes custom parts for a relatively low production bike (like the Stryker) is at a minimum a gamble and probably includes a fair amount of passion for the market segment they serve (FACTORY). If not for these guys I don't know what half of us would have to put on our bikes if we weren't true fabricators like the few guys here are.

This bike sure has a whacky ass, but please feel free to send it my way. ;)

Sounds like if they get any criticism they are going to hide in the corner and cry like little girls.
I have seen guys riding around with whole elk carcasses on their bikes looking for any reaction including people laughing at the total abomination of the ride. For God sake we are bikers, grow some hair.

Ya what every one has said so I'll try not to repeat it.
Wife and I have been following the build since day 1. Because as you know we own a 950...
Wife had concerns with every part they made every step of the way except the seat. But soon she saw the pluses in each part they made and after they were finished she actually likes the look. But like a few others she was concerned with the clearance until I explained to her what the "Air Ride" did, Gives you the same clearance the stock 950 has while riding.
But like others have said even though she likes the bagger look, I prefer chopper/boober look, If either of us were to spend that much money on mods making or own or buying custom mods they wouldn't be anything like what L&M has made for that 950. Except I like the idea of the larger front tire. We both like the rear tire and she likes the seat. I like having a passenger seat because I will always want to take someone for a ride. We both agree on the Air Ride is awesome and we would ride the **** out of it if we won it. Dam I still repeated stuff :-[

You can't tell by looking at it. But as I said we followed the build from day 1 and when I noticed they put a car tier on it my wife emailed them and asked what brand and size it was. Then they mentioned on a post on their facebook page when they finally test rode it what a nice ride it was and that they would be keeping it on there for the giveaway.

I'm not feeling anything you can't ride in the corners and I'm afraid that's what you have here. If bar-hopping or posing is what you want, then fine, but take it on a road trip and see how much you like it when you get back. For a second or third bike, I like it. I just can't see sacrificing form for function. Just the way I'm wired.

Did you miss the part about it having what they call "Air Ride"? That is it has hydraulic air shocks that lift the bike to a normal riding height while riding. Has the same clearance as the stock 950. Still not as much as our Strykers have but ride-able.
