Has anyone lowered the front AND the rear of their stryker? My bike is currently at the shop and the guy working on it suggested it to me stating it would look pretty cool if both the front and rear were lowered. Ive seen some pics and I have to agree I like the look as it is different. My question, has anyone with a 240 done this and found any problems? Better yet has anyone with a 210 done it and had issues? I planned on lowering the rear and throwing on the 240 but here I am again weighing out more options! Ive got the soupys links so Im a little flexible in thr rear.

Im not sure who's bike this is but I love this low look. Found it using google search

I understand lowering a bike becuse of a persons height - I wouldn't lower it just for looks - why? You are reducing the ground clearance and depending on where and how you ride could produce a bad situation...my bike is stock height and I scrape my pegs and have drug the exhaust a couple times on some tight swithbacks..if the bike had been lowered I would have highsided....but that's just me.

Last year when I was at the LONESTAR Rally, there was a yamaha dealer tent that I saw. I walked over and spoke with a mechanic there where he had his wifes bike on display. He had her bike lowered 2.25 in the back and 1 inch spacers on the top of the triple tree. Now I know she doesnt ride like me but it was her bike and she loved it! Yes, she was there.

Lowering just the rear- the look i think is best and it brings out more of a chopper look with the rake of the steering. I have 2 strykers, or should i say mine and my wifes. The 1st week i lowered hers 2 inches with the Barons Links because of her height, so i have the chance to ride both bikes. As far as looks i have just purchased the links for mine and going to lower it soon. As far as riding there seems to be no difference riding, cruising, however on the turning you will touch the pegs sooner. Coming from riding sportbikes for almost 30 years i had to teach myself how to ride the Strykers, and have no troubles at all riding and cornering. I do still have my sportbike and still have blast when i really want get out and lay into the curves. Good Luck on what you decide.
