My wife is about 5'6" so she is a little taller. She put on a Part Unlimited Solo seat which is a good bit wider than stock. This wider seat pushed her legs out further making it a little tougher on uneven ground. We put on the Low & Mean Lowering Spring which dropped the bike about 2". This made a big difference for her. She is still using the stock tire. With the L&M spring it took a Yamaha dealer 2 hours to put it on. You have to take the entire battery box apart to get to the top bolt. Right now L&M has a group buy through the forum until Friday October 26. They have the lowering spring for $100 instead of the $200 normal price (I think).

On mine, I just put on the Avon 240 tire which raised the bike up about 1.25". I didn't care for the higher ride so I put on the PCS lowering links. With this you can drop the bike either 1" or 2.25". I went with the 2.25" and it made a big difference. These only cost $49 delivered and I put them on myself in less than an hour.

My suggestion would be to use the PCS lowering links for the price and ease of installation.

I've also put a 240 on my bike which raised it a little. But I put the PCS lowering kit on it, lowered all the way. Can definitely tell it's lowered. I am 5'6" but can even stretch my legs out and still have them firmly planted when stopped. Well worth lowering

5'5", 240 rear tire and pcs links at 2.25 and sit flat footed with knees bent. I believe a 2.25 drop with stock tier puts the seat height at near 24"

I found a place that makes an adjustable lowering link for my hubbys bike (Roadliner). As of right now that do no show anything on their site for the Stryker. I have sent a message to them asking if they might make one for the Stryker. I will let everyone know what I find out. And for those of you wondering the price for his is listed at $139.
