Highlights:

** Driving position near perfect (6'1" 215) would be perfect except the right peg seems awkward..like I need it to be longer

**Switchgear and displays..cycle right through info modes on the fly

**Handling is excellent for a bike that looks so chopped, straightline rock solid.

**Clutch, trans & engine well balanced..dead certain shifts..engine has nice low end snort

**Orange/Black combo striking on a sunny street, beautiful paint especially as viewed even closer

All in all a enjoyable unit and remarkable value.

Took mine out for her maiden voyage last weekend. Only about 25 miles as it was still a bit chilly but I couldn't wait any longer. Similar impressions although I'm only 5'7" so I thought the reach to the bars was almost a bit to much. Handling will take a little getting used to. Not that it was bad only that I'm coming from a sportier bike (Honda VTR996) which loved to go around corners and the Stryker is a lot longer. Power was great, ride so so. I may need to soften up the suspension just a bit as it seemed a little harsh, but it is spring and the roads aren't so great right now. All and all I think it's a keeper! Isn't the first ride exciting!

oh yah..I'll be real slow to mod this and then only sparingly..i bought a couple OE exhaust and will send one out for a re-work (different baffles)..I'm not even removing the red/wht warning sticker..thats how reluctant I am toward mods.

Ride was stiff but I'll check tire pressure and come up with the best solution based on PSI.

so often you observe these mod guys going absolute nut pissing away their prosperity only to become bored and sell it all at a huge loss..sickening..see it time after time with all sorts of motorized recreational toys..not me I'm here for the long haul.

going to keep the mod list short as possible yet some things are just to appealing..

**modify OE exhaust (re-baffle) to add about 1/3 volume

**I'll need luggage racks to tie down on

**little windsheild, something anyway

**I'll go for that 240 when the OE is shot
