My first post so be kind. I have searched the forum but have not found any threads associated with the care and cleaning of the matte black exhaust. Specifically, I am starting to notice some minor scuff marks. I have been washing with mild car wash soap and drying with chamois and wipe down between washes with micro fiber towels. The minor scuff marks are driving me crazy so after some advice for prevention and possible removal of scufffs and light scratches. Thanks in advance for your advice!

I don't know what you can do about the scuff marks. But for me instead of using a shammy to dry off my bike I use my leaf blower and use the spray on cleaner wax made by honda to shine everything back up. I also use it on the matte black exhaust I have as well. And as long as you wipe it up real good you don't get discoloration from the heat.

Many thanks for the replies. I do use a leaf blower on the bike and will try the Honda spray on wax (and beer).

P.S. I purchased a new 2012 VStar 950 a few month back in order to see if I wanted to get back into riding again. Needless to say, I quickly found out I had missed riding so I start eyeing the Stryker and could not help myself so traded the VStar in a couple of weeks ago for a new 2012 Copper Matte Black and wow, what a bike and what a head-turner she is.
